4th Of July

The 4th is one of my favorite holidays! Nephi calls me crazy, but I don't care! I love the summer and the activities we do on the 4th! I love the yummy BBQ food, swimming, parades, booths at the park, homemade ice cream, root beer, pop its, sparklers, and most of all, the beautiful fireworks at the park!
I know the last three posts were all crammed in to three days, but I hope you all enjoyed catching up on our summer activities!

 I was very surprised that Owen wasn't scared

to hold the sparklers. He really liked them!

Family Vacation

My parents took us to beautiful Malibu, California for a nice family vacation. It was such a fun get away! We spent most of our time playing at the beautiful beach and then went to Six Flags. The boys (including Nephi) were in heaven! They absolutely loved the beach! There were two different beaches that were near us. One sandy beach that was good for boogy boarding and building sand castles. The other had big beautiful caves and rocks. When the tide was down we would go out and find star fish, hermit crabs, and other sea creatures. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great trip!

I forgot to mention the 15 passanger van we drove! 

Everyone slept most of the way.
